A saying that has really resonated with me since I became a mother is "the days are long but the years are short." You blink and your brand new baby is walking, then talking, and now magically in school. When its all said and done we can tell ourselves that we will remember every phase our families go through but those little details eventually become fuzzy. This is one of reasons I encourage parents to not just document their children but the entire family together.
